We are living in 21st century and growing at
rapid pace in every aspect. We feel proud of what we achieved and with
invention of digital and electronic gadgets every day, we use to upgrade ourselves
accordingly to maintain social status. But I get amazed by thinking the fact
that one side we keep ourselves upgraded to maintain the social status but on
the other side same people are becoming so selfish that they even don’t care to
raise their voice if anything wrong is happening in society.
No one gives helping hand to others without any interest. We
have lost all the ethics, culture and principles inherited from our previous
generations. Very few people are there who still help others without any self
interest. As we don’t care for others, in the same way others also think and
they ignore us when we are in trouble. With passing time we moved from joint
family to nuclear family, where no one has time to teach old ethics and
principles to upcoming generation.
If you go in villages, we still see unity in them. We find
all people there are ready to help anyone who is in trouble; they still treat guests
as God. This is because they still remember all those old ethics and
principles. But in cities we are moving towards the time when digital and
electronic gadgets will overpower our mind and we will get indulged only in
those gadgets isolated from the society.
So, I want to appeal all persons don’t forget those valuable
principles, otherwise that day will come soon when our generation will only
need mobile and tabs for updating social status and their life will be
restricted to 7 inches screen and whenever you will ask them for any help than
only answer you get will be “Mind Your Own Business”.
